Emma & Jamie’s Wedding - November 2021

We’ve totally embraced post-lockdown life and have enjoyed every second of working with our brilliant couples once again to bring them the outdoor wedding of their dreams. Today on the blog, we’re offering you an insight into Emma + Jamie’s gorgeous summer celebration with you.

Hosted at Tregoose Farmhouse in Cornwall, a large Georgian farmhouse surrounded by panoramic views and a rural setting that transports you away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. The couple were spoilt with exclusive use of the estate, with a charming conservatory and French doors – the perfect spot for their ceremony. The glorious gardens and wild fields offered a beautiful backdrop for Emma and Jamie to say, ‘I Do’.

The couple were fortunately graced with unreal blue skies and sunshine all day long, so the newlyweds and their guests could really make the most of the grounds on offer at Tregoose House. Here at The Cornish Tent Company, we provided the couple with a Giant Hat Nordic Tipi for up to 72 guests to wine, dine and celebrate throughout their reception and into the evening party.

Our tipis come with classic tipi lighting (fairy lights galore folks), while Emma and Jamie opted for our ‘Dandy Dura Coco Matting’ which is completely party proof and handy for those wearing heels too. They then added a touch of extra sparkle by opting for our fairy light package, where we entwined the lights from the top of the tipi all the way down each main pole – the effect really is magical. The tipi was finished with rustic wooden tables, a spacious dancefloor, our Bamse Max Fireplace – which we set up in the middle of the tipis and opened up the chimney cap for ALL the hygge vibes.

Emma and Jamie were a super fun couple, with the bride wearing a denim jacket and flower crown and the groom in a tartan kilt. They also added plenty of personal touches, including smoke bombs (which made for incredible wedding photographs by Thomas Frost Photography), a stylish outdoor lounge area where guests sipped on cocktails in the sunshine, quirky wooden signage and more.
